Simply switch the scale on, and, ensuring the scale is on a level surface, add an item to the stainless steel pan to get a weight reading.

You can remove an item’s weight, such as a bowl or tray, from the scale, so that the display only shows the weight of the contents. To do this add the empty bowl or tray too the scale, press the tare button, and then add the bowl or tray with the items to weigh.

You can set high and low limits to ensure items being weighed are within the parameters you need, via the mode button. Then, when an item’s weight is below the low limit, or above the high limit, a buzzer will sound.
